About the Speaker
Carol Susan DeVaney has been President of DeVaney Wong International since 1989. She has almost 30 years of experience in helping individuals and organizations manage change successfully. Active in her professional organization, Carol Susan has served on the ASTD Boards of three cities. She is an International Torch Award winner, served on three national committees including Careers and National Advisors, and chaired the International Conference in 2002. She was recognized for helping establish ASTD's first Global Net, and received an Excellence in Practice Citation and a Volunteer/Staff Partnership Award.
Carol Susan is known for her OD and coaching work especially around change issues with a multicultural element. She has worked with the private sector including Fortune 500s as well as with governments at the local, state and federal levels both in the U.S. and abroad. Sample clients include Chubb, American Safety Razor, Nestle, Centex, the U.S. Army, U.S.D.A., and many more. Carol Susan is a Certified Professional Facilitator and a Certified Professional in Learning and Performance. She was the coauthor of HRD Press' best selling Diversity Training package and is a contributing author in other books. She has been featured in journals and magazines including HR News, OD News, Medical Economics and others. Born and raised in the Republic of Panama she is fluent in English and Spanish
